Payment Policy

At Urbntrip, we aim to make your payment process as seamless and transparent as possible. Below are the details of our payment policies to ensure a smooth experience for all our clients.

1. Payment Requirements

All payments for the tour cost must be made according to the prescribed procedure and timeline.

2. PAN Card Requirement

A copy of the client’s PAN card is mandatory for any cash payments of INR 50,000/- or more.

Payments for Foreign Exchange

1. The foreign exchange component of your tour is calculated based on the rate of exchange (ROE) on the day of payment.
2. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines:
   • Private or Leisure Travel: Indian passport holders can avail up to USD 10,000 (or equivalent) per calendar year.
   • Business Travel: A maximum of USD 25,000 per visit is permitted.
   • For both categories, no more than USD 2,000 (or equivalent) can be carried in cash.

Procedure for Foreign Exchange Payment:

1. Payments for the foreign exchange component under your Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) must be made in Indian Rupees via a demand draft in favor of Urbntrip.
2. Clients are required to fill out, sign, and submit a pre-printed Basic Travel Quota Form for processing.
3. Urbntrip will submit the form to the Authorized Dealer/Money Changer, who will release the required foreign exchange under your BTQ.

4. Payment Schedule

To confirm your booking, payments must be made as per the following schedule:

Rate of Exchange (ROE)

The rate of exchange for the foreign exchange component will be calculated based on the date of the final 100% payment.

Important Notes

Failure to make timely payments as per the schedule may result in

1. Cancellation of the booking or tour.
2. Forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Cancellation charges as per the cancellation policy.
